For sure, there have been leaps in how human resources have managed their assets. For example, the ability to track all kinds of data and to build databases capable of storing more bytes of information than I even knew existed. Companies built intranets as a communication tool, globally, on computers that did not exist when I was born. And temporary staffing helped to shape the workforce as we know it today.
